Rally 2026 was organised by Witney YFC and was very kindly hosted by the Hook Family. This year I think it could have been the hottest rally to date with it being 30+ degrees on the day!
It was great to see an exceptional standard of entries to the competitions and all clubs having fun across the board. From new competitions of the synchronized wheelbarrows to the classics of Floral art, floats and go karts, the members had a fantastic day all round.
It was then followed on by the rally after party which was very well attended with over 350 people attending, it was great to see members from across the county plus neighboring counties.
Overall, the day was a huge success, and we have had lots of great feedback from sponsors, supporters, trade, craft etc about the day and they are looking forward to next year. The members did themselves proud with great, friendly competition in true YFC spirit and the standard was superb. It was great to see all clubs doing so well. The night so was a particular success with the number of attendees and not a bother from anyone. It was great to see everyone having such a good time and the security commented that they couldn’t believe how well behaved they were. A testament to the members, well done.
We have raised an amazing amount of money of money for both Witney and the county. We would like to thank Patrick (rally chair) and the rest of the committee for all the hard work that goes into putting on the rally, the committee did a sterling job in organising the show and we were very grateful for the generous support of sponsors and supporters, without whom the day simply would not happen.
